I went out for a meal on Friday Night with a couple of friends from work to say goodbye and good luck to Hazel who is leaving work to have a baby. The evening was quite pleasant however the food and place was not all that good. I wont be going again! After the meal i ventured out into town to meet up with some more work colleagues and had an enjoyable time going from pub to pub and ending up in Flares. Flares is always busy and i really enjoy the music – which is golden but olden (a bit like me!). I have had to pay for being out and about till the early hours of this morning though and have spent nearly all afternoon lounging around the house in my pj’s and watching “girly” movies and snoozing.
My hubby was out for most of the morning playing golf and my son was away playing football – so the house was quiet. The golf match was won so my hubby is well pleased about that as the competition is a National one and the main prize should he get to the final is an all expnses paid trip to Portugal! my son lost his last match of the season but was ok about it as they are no longer going to be relegated as they won the match mid-week against Falmouth. His season like Argyles is now over.
The next season will start in August but he and his fiancee will be away on a 3 month holiday around the world. They are going to India and the Far East and New Zealand and finally New York. Then next August they are getting married in Bali – what a fantastic venue and i cant wait.
