Instead of doing the weekly food shop i drove down to pick my friend up and take her down to Looe. Both of us needed a bit of a “pick me up” and found ourselves at a loose end at the same time. The sun decided to shine and it was in fact quite warm. Looe is a lovely fishing village. There were quite a few families and holiday makers taking advantage of the weather.
Mums and Dads were sitting with their children on the harbour wall dangling the fishing line over the side trying to catch crabs. What an idyllic scene.
We wandered around the narrow streets and enthused about buying a property and turning into a B & B or even renting it out as a holiday cottage (we can dream cant we!)
We rounded off the afternoon by sitting in the cafe on the sea front and eating a Cornish Cream Tea – i will pay for that later on in the week when i stand on the scales i am sure. Never the less it went down a treat and we did walk around for a while so im justified in thinking i will have lost the weight already.
Unfortunately we had to return home and to the real world. I hadnt done the food shopping so there was no tea waiting for me – i managed to put together a salad – healthy or what!
